OUR STORY
Fusion Church is a group of teammates that have come together to journey and explore all that God has for us and what He can do through our lives. Fusion hopes to deliver on an environment that everyone can BELONG BELIEVE BECOME.
Fusion church started as a church re-plant on April 1, 2019. Pastor Armando and his family had some of the most amazing connections with what has become an awesome launch team of many families who hope to achieve their greatest potential together.
At Fusion Church you will find a relaxed and fun environment were anyone can come and experience God, hope, faith and community.
PASTOR ARMANDO
Pastor Armando and his wife, Jo Marie are high school sweethearts who first met on the first day of seventh grade. They became best friends before dating in High School. They eventually married in 1999. Shortly after marriage, Pastor Armando came to know the Lord and then had the privilege and blessing of leading Jo Marie to Christ. This year, they are celebrating 24 years of marriage. They have four amazing children: Kayla (24), Gabrielle (22), Alexandra (20), and Anthony (17).
Pastor Armando’s family had immigrated from Italy but he was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. After he came to know the Lord, he felt called to go to college. In 2003, he graduated from Nyack College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Pastoral Ministry. In 2006, he received his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in Nyack, NY. He has worked in a bi-vocational capacity over the years. In addition to ministry, he has worked as a mental health therapist in both NY and NJ.
He has experience in various ministries that have included Kids Ministry, Young Adults, Adult Ministries, Small Groups Pastor, Youth Pastor, and most recently as Executive Pastor before he transitioned to his current role as the Lead Pastor of Fusion Church.
servPastor Armando’s wife Jo Marie was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven years old. She grew up in the Bronx and graduated from The College of Mount Saint Vincent with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After a medical Missions trip in Haiti, she felt called to advance her career. She received her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Dominican College in 2010. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in New York City.
Jo Marie has worked along side Pastor Armando in various ministries throughout the years serving in kids, youth, and young adults and most recently in host team. She currently leads Women’s Ministry, Host Team, and serves as Director of Systems and Operations.
Together they are a dynamic couple that lead with passion, excitement, purpose.
